Financial Manager wanted by Toscana Cheese Company, Inc. in Secaucus, NJ. Participate in the development of the organization's plans and programs as a strategic partner. Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action. Create and execute long-term strategic plan for financial processes and personnel. Take direct control of all accounting books. Close the monthly books and prepare financial statements variance report. Perform analysis of Dairy Market and Milk Trading, and prepare forecast reports for milk component product price and compare with actual price. Review current Dairy Market and prepare forecast price reports on the basis of seasonal price effect. Review product pricing. Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets (business planning), financial reports and financial trends to senior management. Enhance, develop, implement and enforce policies, procedures and controls of the organization to improve the overall operation and effectiveness. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization. Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position. Provide financial advice on proposed Company contracts. Perform evaluation of the finance and accounting division structure and team plan for continual improvement of efficiency and effectiveness. Oversee the Treasury Function. Prepare borrowing base reports and daily borrowing. Review/prepare the forecasting of cash needs. Prepare monthly management reports and review them with management. Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs. Prepare quarterly report of actual vs. budget. Review and update monthly cash flow, fixed charge analysis, covenant compliance and budget projections. Prepare annual budget. Conduct expense and profit analysis, as needed. Review all contracts. Manage relationships with lenders and corporate auditors. Evaluate financial data to identify opportunities for process improvement within the Company's business units to achieve a high-quality, low-cost model of operation. Manage and mentor accounting and finance team. Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to team members. Oversee M/E inventory audit check and prepare variance reports. Must have a Masterís degree in Finance, Technology Management or a related field plus 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept a relevant Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant progressive experience. Must have 3-5 years of experience (depending on degree) in the Dairy Food Industry. Must have 3-5 years of experience (depending on degree) reporting to senior management. Must possess advanced knowledge of the following current computer systems: SAGE 100 ERP System, SQL Server 2014/12/05, SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, Business Objects 5.1.7 (Supervisor, Designer, Reporter). Must possess advanced knowledge of dairy commodities trading, specifically with respect to milk and butter. Must possess strong technical accounting knowledge. Must have expertise in MS Office Product. Must possess strong leadership skills and have strong communication skills (both written and oral), have strong presentation skills, be well-organized and detail oriented.
